How Coppola Became Cage by Zach Schonfeld
6.5 out of 10

When Nicolas Coppola decided to be an actor, he changed his name to Nicolas Cage in order to shake any perceived nepotism related to his uncle, Francis.  Cage dove into the deep end of acting.  He enjoyed playing eccentric characters in unusual movies.  Marriages, divorces, spending sprees, and debt obligations forced Nick to continuously work.  Luckily (and due to massive talent), he was able to shift gears to perform as leading action heroes and in family-friendly blockbuster roles.
