8 out of 10A tantalizing thesis. The entire book is filled with history and linguistic acumen, but only near the end does a persuasive argument form. Trans-lingua studies about spacial orientation, gender and color suggest a relation between mother tongue and perception; brain scanning experiments performed by neurolinguists greatly add to the empiricism.
