The Capitol Came by Brian Haig
6 out of 10
[Makebelieve] A guy uses his jaw dropping negotiating skills to make himself partner with a group of VCs, hostily takes over a weapons manufacturing company and gets the Pentagon to eat out of his hand. All involved are suspicious of his motives and have trouble investigating his past. A page turner for sure, but a departure from the witty first person narratives in another of Haig's thriller series.
