Do not read this book.  It is about the self destruction of societies through genocide and ecocide.  I may never fully recover from the trauma this book caused me.

Edit of initial review:  Diamond is extremely intelligent and makes legitimate claims as to why humans should be peaceful to each other and the rest of our environment.
