The Little Book of Hygge by Meik Wiking
6.5 out of 10

Hygge is a Danish concept similar to coziness with broad reaching dimensions.  It is an embraced cultural identifier: "What freedom is to Americans, thoroughness is to Germans, and the stiff upper lip is to the British, hygge is to Danes."

While this book is adequately pleasant to read, it is very light on enlightenment.  Wiking [a scientific researcher btw] basically composed a longer version of a song that Maria von Trapp would sing to her stepchildren during a thunderstorm.
